 yesterday i had the pleasure to visit my friend Todd Hancock at his open house for TENDEN . I love that there is a great local fashion designer right in Grand Haven! It was so hot but we had so much fun and I got this great top from his summer collection. I was very happy to see lots of other people there getting just as excited as me!! Now I can picture where he is doing all of his work, its a great space and I wish him luck working on the fall collection! I am hoping we will get to do something together soon for the blog :D

 I have decided to push back the September Issues until it gets a little cooler so bear with me! I have so many outfits im excited about for this fall but its just not time yet! I look forward to more outfits this week featuring Todd's stuff since I went a little crazy at his open house! 

I love his label and the print on this top! super lightweight and comfy, plus i needed a bright print for the dreary cloudy day today!

 i wore this GORGEOUS vintage maxi-dress to my 'cousin' Kyles party for his wedding! Summer of Ponies! We had so much fun I love Kyle and Emma and their families!

my sister norma decided to photobomb my shoot my mom helped me with :D I just love her and her sense of humor! She is getting ready to go back to school teaching all the kiddos how to do math! I wish her luck :D TOMORROW I start the september issues! It hardly feels like September but I am sure glad i can start pulling out my fall fashions!

 Happy Labor Day All! I know i promised to start the September Issues today but frankly I am lazy and didn't feel like it! PLUS i had this outfit i wore on Saturday and i wanted to share. It was oh-so-comfy for running around doing all sorts of stuff before my cousins Wedding Celebration! I will post that outfit tomorrow and then starting Wednesday I will bring on the September issues.

 these are some capris i cut off and made into shorts doing a simple hem! I should have taken pictures and done a tutorial but i did it one morning BEFORE coffee even so....

 i have become obsessed with sock buns. I did this one in a non-traditional way in that i didnt put in a hair tie first. My hair is so thin that if i put in a hair-tie i get a big bump...this makes for a messy-side-sock bun for me but makes great curls later!

 baby pink loafers? I THINK YES! I am obsessed with these babies i found at Goodwill. I am always wary of buying used shoes but these were brand new :D

 heres the dress i showed you guys how I mended on Day Eighteen! First time i found to wore it since i fixed it up. I wore it with these crazy shoes I have never actually worn but i have had for years. I am not sure what i think about them still but i decided to just go for it!

this is my kind of outfit for bombin around, babysitting, crafts and other assorted things i have been doing on my time off as of late. I felt like i was a combination of ladys who lunch and my Molly American Girl Doll.

i am a music lover and i like all kinds of music. The Black Keys are one of my favorites, i have seen them live 4 times and i would see them again in a heart beat. I love this t-shirt.

this is super dorky but i like to wear socks that show with shoes like this. I wish i had little lace socks but these red edged ones were the best i could do. and i sometimes wonder why i got teased as a child.....

i am wearing a TON of my moms jewelry today. Bracelet on Left is her ram cuff, and on the right i have one of her necklaces as a bracelt along with another of her cuffs. I also have my necklace as a bracelet which I also did on Day Eight

 A good day for some thrifting! Lauryn and I went thrift shopping before I headed to GR to visit my other good friend Anissa. I had a blast all day with both of these two ladies! Our first stop bright and early was Goodwill. We had a picnic in the parking lot before they opened of Panera bagels and coffee.

I don't wear hats a lot anymore but I have so many so I decided to whip some of them out! I love this fedora its so fun and summery.
