Comfy clothes don't have to be unstylish! Find a fun t-shirt that is for a good cause and throw on a sweater, some skinny jeans and boots and voila! This is kind of my go to outfit combination for in between weather days (which we had a lot of last week). Now that its cooling off its all sweaters all the time!

My obsession with blazers continues! This is a great lightweight one I have that is great for layering. At my new job the heat is kind of sub-par so layers are necessary! Another good thing about the new job is that it starts later in the day, so there is always time for an outfit shoot before work. I love stepping out on these brisk days and braving it for some fun shots.

Green is definitely one of my favorite colors. Its probably been my go to 'favorite color' answer since I was little. I always play with the green piece or chose the green team! I love green.

sweaters and skirts. day one-hundred-fifty-five.

I have been wanting to wear this outfit for awhile now! It is a really really warm outfit and in my mind the skirt really dresses up the sweater so it took me awhile to find the perfect opportunity to wear it but I did and voila! Here it is!

I was also extremely excited to finally find inspiration for the fur collar i did back in this DIY. It was so much fun to make but I am so indecisive about what else to pair it with. I always have these 'challenges' in my closet, things I have trouble styling, so I am always extremely excited to share when it works out! 

My hat was way covered in cat fur! I very quickly after taking these photos whipped out my lint roller, I am not perfect and no way was I gonna go back and re-shoot even though it is extremely obvious in all these photos! This is what happens when you have four pets including a WHITE cat....

ive been sick. day one-hundred-fifty-four.

Well well its that time again, the cold/flu season, this year it seems like EVERYONE is sick! I was so dead I could barely leave bed for two days. Aches and pains, a cough that does nothing and lots of tissues! My family was amazing, so nice to have your mommy bring you toast and tea and dad take care of the dogs when your ill. Best roomies ever. I love drinking hot tea when I am sick, what do you need to make you feel better? I finally mustered up the strength to re-join society and do something, but that didn't mean I got dressed up. Hoodie and Jeans all day! 

this last one is  just to creep everyone out a bit. Don't I look possessed! Well sometimes sick is close to possessed so there you have it. Stay healthy! Eat tons of fruits and veggies, drink water and take extra Vitamin C to keep healthy. If not make yourself a warm cup-o-tea and get lots of rest.

boyfriend clothes. day one-hundred-fifty-three

There is a huge trend for 'boyfriend' style things going around. I talk a lot about trends on this blog and have also previously  mentioned how these trends keep coming IN and OUT of style frequently. For me trends are kind of a jumping off point seasonally. They remind me of things I may have forgotten like OH YAH print mixing is cool, or florals can be really fun. But I never really rely on them. I never have and I think when you are developing your style you shouldn't. Otherwise you are just into 'fashion' and not into 'style'. Even though I am still discovering my personal style I like to think of myself as the latter. Anyway I digress, I love the trend of 'boyfriend' style things. SO guess what I did? Stole my boyfriends clothes of course! This is his sweater/shirt, mind you it is kind of nice that he is close to my size ;) I loved this sweater he has from express it is so stinkin soft!

This is sadly the last post from Chicago :( I don't know when I will get to visit again so that is REALLY sad. I am finally feeling much better but the long days with the new job are making me nervous about getting sick again! I have spent very little time away from work being awake. Mostly working on this blog, and the new food blog with my mom which will come out this weekend!  Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!
